Taishan

3 hrs later, I finally arrived in Taishan! Motorcycles and scooters EVERYWHERE. Urban Dictionary was right.

1.	toisan
	The Cantonese version of Taishan, a region in China close to Hong Kong that speak the Toisan language; A region of poor farmers that ride motorcycles around; An extremely hot type of asian girls and pimping asian guys. "Man, this girl has 50 guys after her. What do you expect, she's Toisan."

Holy crap. There's more people in motorcycles/scooters than pedestrians and cars. They're parked all over the sidewalks too. If you get in their way, they honk at you and swerve around you. I tried to cross the street but over here, cars here don't stop to let people cross the street. I was in the middle of the street and a car honked at me, sped up and drove around me LOL I got stuck standing in the middle of the street for a while. This happened multiple times. Crossing the street is so scary!!!!




One of the many stray kittens I saw. It was sooo tiny. Probably about the size of two of my hands put together and I have kid hands!


Hotel room. Not bad. I was expecting dirty cement floor with mosquitos all over the ceiling.. that's what I remember my bed was like back when I was 3.. a lot has changed! Although I'm kind of disappointed there's no baby chicks to play with like last time.


OMG A TOILET! I don't remember any of these 20 years ago! There's toilet paper too :D


WTF why is the shower right across from the toilet?? lol taking a shower was an interesting experience. I got everything wet :(


Pretty rose carved from a carrot or radish and chicken that they raised themselves.


I don't know what this is called in English.. "Hahm ma fahn" something something rice :D
