Exploring Taishan

Walking around Taishan taking snapshots. I mostly took pictures of the old buildings since it's less crowded there.








Scooters and motorcycles parked outside a plaza. Sooo many!




Their ice cream cones come in 4 different flavors!!! They have peach and taro pie!! I didn't try any yet because I was still full.








Looks like school is over. An army of kids walked by me.

What happened to Taishan? I thought it was a village full of farmers and chickens but there's a shopping plaza now!




Closer look at the menu.. so curious, but too full to eat.


In the back of a taxi. It costs less than $1! It got too dark and too tired to walk all the way back to the hotel. That was the scariest ride I've ever been on.. lots of swirving and honking and speeding. They drive crazy over here but somehow, people don't get into accidents. I don't know if that means they are bad drivers or if they're really good drivers.

I didn't get to explore Taishan as much as I wanted. I hadn't slept since I was in Seattle, plus I had to wake up at 5am because my tour bus was picking me up at 5:15am!
