Taishan: Stroll Around a Pond

My skin has gotten so clear since I've been in China! Ok I semi cheated because I'm standing in front of a window when I took this picture :P but I did notice a difference. Maybe it has something to do with the air or food. I have no idea. I noticed all the girls here have perfect skin so I went to a store and bought some skin products to try out.


I went back to McDonald's again. Craving a burger sooooooo bad. I got a happy meal this time ^_^ Cheeseburger, fries, Coke, and KungFu Panda toy


I should have gotten that instead. I don't know what it is but it looks exotic and delicious.

There's a KFC here too but I forgot to go try it :( At night, KFC hosts some dance thing outside of the restaurant. They blast loud music and teach little kids a dance. So adorable! I forget to take pictures every time though.


Is this like the McDonald's of China? A Bruce Lee fast food chain that sells Chinese food. I saw a couple of those here.

So today was just another day strolling around Taishan.

Girls here hold hands to show that they're friends. Boys here put their arms around each other as a sign of friendship and it's not considered gay. It's so cute here! Shows how homophobe the US is.


Amazing! She makes all her clothes using this old school contraption.

Fast forward to dinner:


Mmm this is cost about $1.50 USD


My favorite way of having rice cooked.. clay pot rice mmmm love the distinct flavor. The best part is after I'm done eating the soft rice and I get to the toasted rice that's stuck to the clay pot. Pour hot water in it and let it slip off the clay pot. So delicious!!

After dinner, did more wandering around and shopping like usual. Then off to bed. One more day in Taishan! *sob sob*
